INGENTING
Ingenting is a Norwegian rock act who are known to create an amazing atmosphere in front of the stage. There will be singing on their most beloved tracks, like “Liden”, “4 Mann å sang”, “Hiv-positiv” og not least “Gje faen i det”. Information
Arena: The Gressholman Peninsula
Rockholm will be arranged at the famous Gressholman peninsula. The area has some of the nicest beaches in the region, and was declared the best place for swimming in Harstad in 2023. This part of the Hinnøya island have big deposits of slate and limestone types of rock, which lay the groundworks for some of the beautiful beaches in the area. There are also soft hills which make it easier for grazing animals to feed. Read more about the area at Harstad municipality webpages (in Norwegian).
Travel info
Festival bus: when you order a ticket, you can add the festival bus for a low cost. We highly recommend this option to everyone who will be staying between the festival and Harstad city.
- Be aware that if you buy our hotel package, you will have to order the festival bus in addition if you want to travel between the hotel and the festival.
- The bus leaves at 16:00 both days and will leave the Gressholman drop zone at 01:00 both days.
- You HAVE to pre-pay the ticket, to be sure to get a seat on the festival bus. If you have already bought a festival ticket and want to add a bus ticket, you should be able to change options through your order confirmation. Otherwise send us an email or message us on the Facebook page.
- The bus drive the following route both ways: Quality Hotel Harstad - around Seljestad - around Kilbotn - Gressholman turning point.
Air travel: the closest airport is Harstad/Narvik airport Evenes, or EVE in search engines. If you travel internationally it makes most sense to stop in Oslo Gardermoen airport (OSL) before going to Evenes. Norwegian, SAS and Wideroe have many daily flights to Evenes airport. Also look at the travel map below to get more accustomed to the region. If you want to visit Lofoten on your festival trip, you can check fylkestrafikk.no which will have bus routes going to Svolvær in Lofoten and back to Harstad (~3.5 hours by bus or ~2.5 hours by car).
Airport bus: if you come on an airplane, the airport bus is the best way to get into Harstad city. After getting your luggage, the bus will always leave straight outside the terminal, and will be easy to find. Be careful to get on the right bus as other buses leave for different cities in the region.
Car: For anyone coming from the local region, you should use the drop zone to let out and pick up your passengers. The road to the festival area will be temporarily marked as a one-way road around Store Fauskevåg, with an on/off-ramp to RV83.
Festival parking: We highly recommend you to buy/add a parking space when you order the ticket or add it to an existing order by sending us an email. The public parking space at Gressholman will be closed to make room for the festival bus.
Walk/bicycle: for the locals the road to the festival will be a nice walking trip or cycling.
Motorcycle: if you buy a tent with your ticket, you can park your MC at the tent camp. Be aware that it is not possible to drive in and out during the festival program is active.
Camping car/wagon: New for 2025 is that camping cars/wagons will use the regular parking area that we have. More info in the "camping" section.
Tent camping
We have a small camping area that is rented from one of the owners at Gressholman. You can add a camping/tent space as well as a parking spot when you order your tickets.
- On arrival: the camp will be 1100 meters from the car dropoff-zone. If you have parking you can drop off people and camping equipment in the drop zone, then park the car (ca 900 m from the festival area).
- There will be restrooms/toilet rooms available in the festival area. There is also a quite nice public sanitary facility right outside the festival area with an outdoor shower too (see map).
- Camp buyers can park their motorcycle by the camping place. Driving in/out will only be possible during daytime outside the festival program.
Camping car/wagon
The parking area is beautiful, but be aware of the following:
- No power available. You can bring a generator, but you can only let it run as long as it doesn't create tension with the other festival participants.
- Somewhat uneven surface. No asphalt. The surface is grass and to get there you will have to drive off from a gravel road.
- Animals are only allowed connected to the wagon/campingcar space and as long they don't create tension with the other festival participants (see below).
- It is a quite small area, so you will probably not be able to set up a camping tent connected to your wagon/campingcar.
Animals
It is not permitted to have animals on the festival site or the tent camp. Those who have a camping wagon/car can have animals on their own responsibility in and around their wagon/car. If the animal is of any offense to any other festival participant, the animal might have to be removed also from the camping wagon/car area too.
